What to look for in a stay
Questions that keep a comparison honest when you move from overview to listing.
Start with where the property sits — countryside, mountain, waterfront or city edge. Setting explains the character of a stay more reliably than promotional language.
We state category and star class as supplied facts so you can place each property beside others of a similar type. They are labels for orientation, not rankings we invent.
Some entries are self-contained resorts; others are quieter regional hotels with a gaming floor nearby. Knowing which pattern you prefer narrows the field without pressure.
Where a property is historic or architecturally distinctive, that is part of the description. Landmark entries lean on form and heritage rather than novelty alone.
